Bird Seed (Unit Rate)
Nia and James have new birdfeeders in the yard. They notice that the bluebirds and sparrows are attracted to the sunflower seeds, while the cracked corn attracts wrens. They have also noticed that the bluebirds eat about ¼ of a pound of sunflower seeds in 3 days. The sparrows eat about ½ of a pound of sunflower seeds in 4 days and the wrens eat about ⅕ of a pound of cracked corn in 2 days. How often do they need to buy new bags?
